A toast to resilience in challenging times
The provocation
As Presidents’ Day approached, we wanted to send our clients and partners a token of encouragement and good will in a challenging time.
The Solution
Typically, Presidents’ Day is associated with a day off from work and retail sales. This year, it made us ponder concepts of leadership, progress and the challenges we face as a society.
We decided to raise a glass to resilience, persistence and moving forward. We chose zero-proof kombucha as a contemporary, health-conscious beverage that literally embodies a symbiotic culture, one that transforms into something good (and delicious).
The packaging brings another idea into play: that we must break what no longer serves us and build what does. As a lasting memento of the occasion, we included a usable and ceremonial-looking gold hammer that echoes the golden hue of the liquid.
Each bottle features one of five unique labels with shard shapes, which symbolically come together on the kombucha box. The label reminds us that Discouragement Leads Nowhere. Persistence is the answer.
